Before,
there was a small selection of flip flops and sandals available. Now, there is
an array of flats, oxfords and even pumps. Some of them are very comfortable
just like their pioneers, the Crocs (To view their latest collections visit
Crocs.com)
Design
has also evolved with time. New pairs have stylized lines, delicate models and
eclectic details.
This
trend is definitely comfortable, convenient and cute. Just make sure to pick
the right model. You don’t your shoes to make you look wide, inappropriate, or
like your work in a hospital or lab (Unless you do!).
A good
rule of thumb is to pick shoes that are slim, with age-appropriate
embellishments or patterns, and in suitable colors. Barbie pink plastic shoes
are not appropriate at 35.

Another
thing to keep in mind is the occasion where you are wearing them. Unless you
work in a place that requires plastic shoes, be very careful when and where you
use this candy. Another good rule of thumb is to wear them to any outdoor
activity or with spring/summer outfits.
Please
do not get the wrong idea. I am not against these shoes, by the contrary, if
used well they can be fabulous!
Have
you seen the gorgeous bow flip flops that different brands have designed?
Everyone from inexpensive to designer labels has come out with a cute pair.
Peep toe pumps have also provoked head turns. They are perfect for casual
dresses and skirts, especially in nude colors. Flats are also incredibly pretty
and unbelievably comfortable. They are great for jeans and skinny pants. Take a
look at our slideshow!
